First Hyderabad Book Fair was held in the year 1985 at City Central Library, Ashok Nagar, Hyderabad. A few essential publishers and Booksellers participated in the fair. There was an enormous response from the book lovers and the people of Hyderabad. It has been continuously running at Telangana Kala Bharati (NTR Grounds). Within a short time, Hyderabad Book Fair has become very popular throughout India.
The Hyderabad Book Fair Society is gearing up to inaugurate the 36th edition of the Hyderabad National Book Fair 2024, scheduled to take place from December 19th to 29th 2024.
Venue: NTR Stadium, Lower Tank Bund, Hyderabad.

In addition to offering a wide range of publications, the book fair is also set to organise book launches, host seminars, and engage in activities aimed at promoting a culture of reading among individuals.
